March 2021

"Can you See my Screen"

The Bern Seiderman Gallery is proud to present the March 2021 show entitled “Can You See My Screen?”.  In today’s virtual classroom, screen sharing is now an everyday occurrence.  However, in our computer art courses, screen sharing has been an important part of classroom instruction for years.  “Can You See My Screen?” features the work from the veterans of screen sharing: Mrs. Ehrlich’s Photo Illustration and Mr. Kunz’s Graphic Design classes.

The pandemic and the virtual classroom have not slowed these classes down one bit!  It is business as usual in Graphic Design and Photo Illustration with the students now having Adobe programs Photoshop and Illustrator on their tablets.  The work on display features logo designs, vector portraits, package design, typographic portraits, typeface design, and much more.  In addition to learning industry leading programs such as those from Adobe, students also learn to incorporate the elements and principles of design to create some amazing work.  Please take a moment to enjoy the artwork of our computer art students as we share their screens in “Can You See My Screen?”.
